The Shih Tzu, what can we say that would be different from other owners and breeders. They get a hold on your heart and won't let go. Ever loyal, loving , and I must admit a bit stubborn. They have been a part of our lives for over twenty years and I cannot picture life without them. What fun when you need a smile, what comfort when you need a hug and the constant assurance that you are the most important person in the world. We have found them to be healthy, hearty pets fed properly and cared for will live long lives. They love to travel, never have met a stranger, good with children and cats for that matter. We have only this past year made an attempt to show our dogs and I will only offer the comment that it's fun. About us, we live on 4 acres over-looking the Hood Canal. We are at the end of a dead end road so under supervision the dogs can have a good run.
